About Me   
My name is Heidi McLain. I am the owner and facilitator of Happy Heart Parenting. It is my absolute joy to teach parenting classes and not only make them interesting and informative, but relaxed and FUN!  

I am an independent consultant for child custody mediation, and on the Family Court list of Approved Providers for both supervised visitation and parenting classes in San Diego County, helping families throughout the county.

I have five children of my own: Boy-girl twins age 23, a 20-year-old boy, 15 year old girl, and a 7-year-old girl.

My Philosophy  I believe that all children deserve love, attention, and nurturing. I believe that a safe environment and consistent parenting allows children to grow, learn, feel confident, and be happy. Parents are the most important teachers and role models a child will ever have. Parenting can be a wonderful but sometimes challenging job. There are tons of books out there, but where do you start? This Court-Approved Parenting Class will give you all of the tools necessary to help you to be the best parent ever!
